Smaller, scattered population in moist roadside ditch with small stream, by railroad tracks. Uniform population, effective population size - 200 plants. More typical H. nuttallii. Past peak flowering. No apparent insect or disease damage. Associated wild species: Carex, Equisetum, Crepis, Cyperus, Typha.
