Narrative
Reiko is susceptible to anthracnose (Colletotrichum fragariae). It affects crown, petiole, runners and leaves at nursery bed in the hot season. This is likely why after about a decade fewer acres of Reiko were planted in Japan. Hokowase is resistant. Masayoshi Minegishi 1989.
