Environment description: Past grazed, now cultivated/protected. Slope 0-5%, aspect NE. Area open. Soil red loam on alluvium, pH 8.0. Rainfall 350 mm. Moist, irrigation canal. Vegetation closed, seasonal tall grass. Surrounding veg. irrigated agri., olive, cereal.
