Environment description: Grazed. Slope 0-5%, aspect S. Area open. Soil loam, pH 6.5-7.0. Rainfall 700 mm. Moist, stream terrace. Vegetation closed, seasonal tall grass. Surrounding veg. evergreen open forest with closed lower layers.
