Environment description: Grazed. Slope 0-5%, aspect N. Area open. Soil heavy clay, pH 8.5-9.0. Rainfall 500 mm. Moist, stream terrace, banks. Vegetation closed, seasonal tall grass. Surrounding veg. dryland cereal. Dominant herb/grass species couch, bermuda.
Number of plants sampled: 20
Associated species: Assoc. sp. annual Medics, M. ciliaris, annual clovers, Juncus sp., cattails. Some salty areas.
