Environment description: Grazed.Slope 0-5%,aspect S. Open.Soil heavy cracking vertisols near salt lake, some salt on surface, pH 8.5-9.0. Rainfall 600 mm. Seasonally flooded, floodplain. Vegetation closed, seasonal tall grass. Surrounding veg. agri., dryland wheat.
