Narrative
Plant moderate growth, somewhat spreading 8' tall, 5-1/2' wide at 13 years. Leaves thick, leathery, glossy dark green, elliptic, 3-1/2" long, 1-1/4" wide, with crenate margins. Flowers 3-1/2", lavender pink, semi-double, 17 fluted and notched petals. Buds very hardy. Blooms late Nov.- Dec. Cold hardy to -10 deg. F
