Locality: 20km Sw of headquarters. Ecological reserve 75km SE of Xlinhot, Nei Monggol, China.
Elevation: 1096m.
Environment description: At base of valley. Rolling area on Mongolian Plateau. Found in a swale. Considerable pumice present. Sandy loam, some stones, good drainage, pH 6.9. Full sun, 15 deg. slope, 40 deg. aspect. Grassland, grazed. 50% ground cover. (PI 202)
