Locality: 10km S of headquarters. Ecological reserve 75km S of Xlinhot, Nei Monggol, China.
Elevation: 1120m.
Environment description: Rolling area on Mongolian Plateau. Badly disturbed land. Sandy loam, few stones, good drainage. Full sun, 20 deg. slope, 240 deg. aspect. Grassland, some grazing. 45% ground cover. (PI 202)
