Locality: Ecological reserve. 75km SE of Xlinhot, Nei Monggol, China.
Elevation: 1175m.
Environment description: Rolling area on Mongolian Plateau. Sand, few stones, good drainage, pH 6.4. Full sun, 40 deg. slope, valley. Grassland with large dunes. Some low shrubs. Very dry sandy area along valley between dunes. 35% ground cover. (PI 202)
