Elevation: 1128m.
Environment description: Hilly area on Mongolian Plateau. Sandy loam, few stones, good drainage, pH 7.6. Full sun, 45 deg. slope, 200 deg. aspect. Grassland with large rolling hills. Bank of dry stream, some grazing. 40% ground cover. (PI 202)
