Elevation: 1128m.
Environment description: Hilly area on Mongolian Plateau. Sandy loam, few stones, good drainage, pH 6.4. Full sun, 20 deg. slope, 240 deg. aspect. Exposed to wind. Grassland with large rolling hills. Some grazing. 90% ground cover. (PI 202)
