Narrative
Germplasm population with resistance to leaf feeding by the fall armyworm. Mixed kernel (mostly yellow), cob color with grain of average quality. Plants vary in plant and ear height, averaging 188 and 101cm, respectively. Vary in maturity from AES1000 to AES1100. Some resistance to ear-feeding insects, but is more subject to stalk lodging than most hybrids. Potential for yield and other agronomic characters favorable when compared to most breeding populations and some commercial hybrids.
