Narrative
Early maturing (20-30 days earlier than the earliest present cultivars). Plants compact. Pods two-segemented with moderate constriction between the small seeds ': (approx. 28g/100 seeds). Plants prolific but yield potential is lower than that of present U.S. cultivars. Not released for commercial production in the food trade. Provides breeders a useful germplasm source for peanut improvement where very early maturity may be desirable. Suitable for production in home gardens in U.S. where the growing season is too short for earliest commercial variety.
