Narrative
Although quite rare in nature, this is a natural hybrid. Researchers have recovered the P.dumosus-synonym of P.coccineus subsp. darwinianus-parent, and a not fully normal P.vulgaris parent, and several offspring that are still in-between, some with seed-filling (sterility) problems.
