M.M. Thompson referred to this genotype as R. sanctus in her 1995 manuscript. This clone had the following traits: primocane axes not pruinose but felty with dense short patent hairs; prickles mostly straight; leaves hairy above; > 100 short simple and often stellate hairs per cm-squared learf beneath tomentose Terminal leaflet more rounded, mostly broadly obovate, mucronate
