Locality: Near Island Lake campground, about 0.1 mile east of Crowsnest Pass on highway 3. In level area between highway and Crowsnest River.

Environment description: In wooded area and adjacent cut area under powerlines.
Comment: Plants about 0.75 m, leaf size also reduced compared to lower elevations, few flowers noted. Small plant and shoot collected.
