Locality: Along road to Yeneco 0.5 km from junction with Highway 160, 14 km from Lebu. Site is east of road, across from first farmstead from junction.

Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Clones B-Q were scattered throughout a young Monterey pine plantation (5-10 years old). The pine planatation was on a 2m x 4m spacing, trees were 3-5m tall and had not yet filled in.
Comment: Collected wild by Cameron et al. and received at NGR- Corvallis Much of the native F. chieoensis in this area may become endangered by the widespread planting of Monterey pine. F. chiloensis is not expected to tolerate the full shade conditions after these plantations close in.
