Environment description: Heavily disturbed forest with Cecropia, Saurauria, Vismia and leguminous tree species.
Comment: Collected wild by Luteyn et al Terrestrial shrub to 3m tall. Bracts pink. Corolla white with red band distally. Berry dark purple, to 1.7cm dia.
