Narrative
Perennial creeping, stoloniferous and rhizomatous 38-50.8cm tall. Developed for stabilizing shoreline, banks of acquaculture ponds, canals and streams with brackish and salty water. Less aggressive with regard to growing out in the water. May be planted for pasture, lawns and other uses where only salt water is available. May also be used for erosion control where the water is nonsaline. Adapted to low elevation sites along water edge. Little fertilizer needed under saline conditions. Responds favorably to fertilizer when grown with nonsaline or fresh water.
