Fruits somewhat pear-shaped, 3cm long, irregular, ribbed, 3-4 sided in cross section, apex inverted, dark purple when mature, flesh thin, not piquant. Seeds light yellow. Purchased from a Brazilian vendor in the Cobija market. Said to be grown locally.
