Locality: Edge of large clay pan (Bosobogolo Pan), 106km N of Tshabong, SW Kgalagadi Province.
Coordinates: -25.2000, 22.0500 (Map it)
Elevation: 1100m.
Habitat: Other
Environment description: Site on edge of dry clay pan, impeded drainage, no stoniness; soil pH 7.8 (Alkaline 7.5 and above). one plant in 1 sq m area, one plant sampled, ripe fruit collected. Kalahari sand and some clay. Little disturbance. Natural method of propagation seed; 100% with ripe seeds, population well separated from others. Few scattered individuals for abundance within plant community; patchy distribution; dominant plant species Acacia hebeclada; Enneapogon dexvauxii, Setaria verticillata also present. No pests or disease observed.
