From Westwood File: Seeds collected in Turkey by Cecil G. Woodbridge and sent to M.N. Westwood at Oregon State University in the fall of 1962. P. elaeagrifolia WB-4 seed collected in October-November, 1962 by villagers in Cankaya, about 10 miles east of Ankara, at 4000 ft. elevation.
