Pyrus cordata HEART-LEAVED PEAR. Morton Arboretum 95-59 sd. Seeds received on 01 May 1958 from Leningrad Botanical Garden, Leningrad U.S.S.R., and was received as Pyrus boissieriana; original source was wild collected in 1957 from an unspecified site in the southwest, Turkmen S.S.R., U.S.S.R. Herbarium sheets are on file (at Morton Arboretum) that show Flower/Reprod. Struct., Vegetation. -- information received from Morton Arboretum curator Kunso Kim, 5/10/2011.
