Narrative
Vegetatively propagated hexaploid with 2n = 54 chromosomes. Sheds pollen but sets sparse seed. Foliage cross-textured with natural dark bluish-green color. Greens up early in spring and appears winterhardy. Tolerance to ring nematodes (Criconemella ornata). Less thatch than other commercial cultivars. Suited for golf course roughs, roadsides, low traffic athletic fields, commercial landscaping area and lawns.
