Narrative
Maturity very early. Long grain with high main crop and superior ratoon crop yielding ability. Averages 100cm in height and 81 days from seedling to heading. Spikelet straw-colored, glabrous, awnless, and apiculus purple. Non-aromatic. High-amylose, intermediate gelatinizing type. Susceptible to U.S. races of Pyricularia and sheath blight (Rhizoctonia ssp.) but more tolerant than Skybonnet Resistant to straighthead.
