Environment description: Site plain, grassland, grassy road verge. Free drainage, sandy loam, low stoniness. Four plants in 10 x 20 sq m area, few ripe fruit taken from each plant. Natural method of propagation seed; 100% has ripe seeds, population well separated from others. Present 5-25% for abundance within plant community; uniform/mixed stand distribution; dominant plant species Hyparrhenia species of grass. Comments on morphological variation - similar to other populations. No pests or disease observed. No related cultivated forms grown nearby.
