Habitat: Grassland
Environment description: Site plain, exposed grassland, sparse. Free drainage, coarse sand with no stoniness. Two plants in 20 x 10 sq m area, one ripe fruit taken from each of 2 plants. Natural method of propagation seed; 100% has ripe seeds, population well separated from others. Few scattered individuals for abundance within plant community; patchy distribution; vegetative grass dominant plant species; associated species Vigna unguiculata and C. myrocarpa. No pests or disease observed. No related cultivated forms grown nearby.
