Locality: Sandy loam, roadside, by Merrybridge, 2km from Harare on Alpes Road, Central Province
Coordinates: -17.7500, 31.0833 (Map it)
Elevation: 1540m.
Habitat: Roadside
Environment description: Site physiology plain; roadside, wild habitat, sparse vegetation; free drainage; natural method of propagation seed/vegetative. Abundance within plant community few scattered individuals with patchy spacial distribution. Two plants in 10 sq m area, only one plant with ripe fruits sampled, other vegetative stage. Vigna luteola (sample # 001) collected in same group of plants. C. myriocarpus was also seen at this site but could not be relocated in a subsequent visit to collect seeds.
