Narrative
Large stand. Plants up to 2m long, some appear to have female inflorescences only. Flag leaf 24cm long, 1cm wide. Blade pubescent. Leaf sheath with purple lines. Ligule 3cm long, white, acute to acuminate. Collar pale green. Culms 127cm long, 19 per plant, .5cm diameter. Internode green. Stigma purple. Awned. Lemma and palea black. Seed coat brown
