Narrative
Bloom persistent, and conspicuous. Seeds large. Plants spread readily from rhizomes. Used for critical area stabilization on sandy soils along lake shores, river banks and sand dunes in the Gread Lakes and Great Plains regions. Adapted for range seeding. Seed increase from originally collected vegetative materials.
