Narrative
Tree with oval crown, 6x6.5m. Bark generally smooth, dark brown. Young leaves deep bronze almost hidden by flowers. Mature leaves, normal in size, dark green. Flowers pink, showy, with oval overlapping petals 3.5-4cm. Approx. 30 years old. DMMT(10): -8.8 deg. C, DMMT(1): -33.8 deg. C.
