Snow cover 60cm per annum. Minimum temperature -25C. Tree deciduous, 7m tall, upright habit. Bark smooth, whitish. Leaves bright green above. Aggregate follicles turning red. Seed collected from one tree in Akan, Akan-machi and presented to group.
