Narrative
Adapted to Kansas, Oklahoma, eastern Colorado and northeast New Mexico on soils and clays with 38.1cm or more precipitation. Production and palatability not as good as native bluestems or southern bluestem, but tolerant to wider range of soils and climate. Used for pasture. Cold tolerant.
