Narrative
Introduced in 1953 from Southwest Uganda. High germination, strong seedling vigor. Plants relatively short maturing, quick recovery growth, herbage quality good. Tends to become stemmy and leaf growth not impressive. Best in rainfall areas above 850 mm.
