There was some type of mix up with the seed packets we got from the collector, or a mistake made by our station back in the early 1970's. Thus Brachypodium distachyon is Eremopyrum triticeum and the actual collection location for PI 317417 could have been 30 miles west of Jalalabad . Elevation: 830 meters, Afghanistan. 01 Aug 2009.
