Narrative
Perennial tufted bunchgrass with an upright growth habit. Foliage dark green. Height ranges from .5-.75 m. Later in maturity and more robust than other Old World bluestem cultivars. Extremely uniform in all characteristics and no sexual reproduction observed. Persistent with good spring vigor. Very Fe efficient. High crude protein content. Used to improve pasture and rangeland and for soil stabilization.
