Narrative
The genetic constitution of the species is rigens curvans according to the genetic nomenclature of Oenothera. Propagated by self fertilization but the flowers need protection by paper bag to prevent contamination by foreign pollen. Used under O. muricata in many genetical publications. The id is the seed book number of Prof. harte and means cross No. 9 made in 1990.
