Scabrous annual; petioles long; leaves palmate, odd-lobed to seven lobes, the middle lobe being the largest; peduncles fascicled, much shorter than the hispid petiole; flowers small; fruit numerous, round, to one inch in diameter, sparingly to densley bristled. Reportedly poisonous to livestock.
