Locality: Prostrate, only fair vigor, to eight inches high, spread 29 inches, hirsute; leaflets elliptic, to 1 inch long; flowers 1 or 2, purplish-red; pod to 3 inches long, 4-angled, 4- winged; seeds globose-oblong, smooth brown, 2 mm. in diam.
