Narrative
Type = Plum. Per Evaluation of Introduced Plum Varieties (see citation): "Fruit: diameter 3.5 cm, length 4.5 cm; obovate, necked; skin yellowish-red to purple, heavy bloom; flesh yellow; sugar low, acid low; 16.8% soluble solids; poor to fair quality; freestone; season last week of July to first week of August. Halves unequal, fruit rather dry, flavor very mild and somewhat flat, only poor to fair quality."
