Narrative
Type = Plum. A seedling from Burbank, but later and a better variety. Per Evaluation of Introduced Plum Varieties (see citation): "Fruit: diameter 4.0 cm, length 4.4 cm; oval; skin yellow, 50% reddish-purple blush, light bloom; flesh yellow, firm; sugar medium, acid medium; 23.3% soluble solids; good quality; stone slightly cling, small size; heavy yield; season first week of October. Flesh is bright golden yellow, very attractive and meaty. Major drawback is lack of size."
