Type = Plum. Per R.L. Smith et al (see citation): "Fruit Characteristics: Size - Dimeter 3.0cm, length 3.0cm; Shape - Roundish to round; Skin - Amber, medium bloom; Flesh - Yellow, medium firm to firm; Flavor - Sugar medium to high, acid high; Soluble solids - 26.1%; Quality - Fair; Stone - slightly cling; Yield - Medium; Season - First week of September; Comments: Small, round, bright amber to reddish-purple fruit. Somewhat astringent and sour though refractometer indicates high soluble solids content."
