Narrative
Type = Plum (salicina type). Per Evaluation of Introduced Plum Varieties (see citation): "Fruit: diameter 3.2 cm, length 3.0 cm; roundish to round, cordate; skin yellow, light bloom; flesh yellow, medium firm; sugar low, acid low; poor quality; stone mostly cling, medium size; heavy yield; season second to third week of June. Ripe when greenish yellow in color. Fruit resembles P. cerasifera. Tree more like P. salicina. Fruits have peculiar break-down, spotting in flesh and are of poor quality."
