Narrative
TYpe = Plum. Per Evaluation of Introduced Plum Varieties (see citation): "Origin: First propagated by the Baron of Trauttenberg, Prague, Bohemia, who had received it from Professor Pater Hackl, Leitmeritz, Bohemia. Fruit Characteristics: SIze - Diameter 3.4cm, length 3.7cm, Shape - Ovate, oval compressed along suture; Skin - purplish-red, heavy bloom; Flesh - Amber; Flavor - Sugar medium to high, acid low to medium; Soluble solids - 21.7%; Quality - Fair to good; Stone - Free, medium size; Yield - Medium; Season - Third week of July, Comments: Fruit shape is generally ovate and slightly lopsided, one side tends to be much straighter than the other, small, medium soft, sweet, fair quality. Appears to be the same variety as P.I. 131179."
