Attractive, turf-type, tall fescue, producing a leafy persistent turf of greater density, finer texture, and slower rate of vertical growth then the standard, commercially available cultivars of tall fescue. Should produce a medium low maintenance turf in full sun to moderate shade.

Original source of most germplasm was plants collected from old turf areas in New Jersey and surrounding areas. In addition, part was from accessions from ARS, USDA and from trispecies hybrids of tall fescue, meadow fescue, and perennial ryegrass.
