Narrative

Annual ryegrass, tall, erect-growing, wide-leafed, with good seedling vigor. A late-maturing, diploid (2n=14), matures approximately 2 weeks later than Gulf in Mississippi. Produces longer than other diploid varieties in the spring. Has shown excellent cold tolerance, retains a green color at lower temperatures than other varieties. Produces superior forage yields in early spring.
