Narrative
Type = Plum. Per Evaluation of Introduced Plum Varieties (see citation): "Fruit Characteristics: Diameter - 3.6cm, length 3.3cm; Shape - Roundish ot round; Skin - Purplish-red, medium bloom; Flesh - Yellowish-green; Flavor - SUgar high, acide medium to high; Soluble solids - 27.7%; Quality - Poor to fair; Stone - Free to slightly cling; Yield - Medium; Season - First week of August. Comments: Bright round fruit with plenty of sugar, acid, and aroma but there is also a considerable bitterness and astringency in most fruits until fully ripe. The astrinent quality is very lasting. Appears to be the same variety as Orleans Early P.I 127036."
