Narrative
Type = Plum. Per Evaluation of Introduced Plum Varieties: "Fruit: diameter 3.6 cm, length 3.6 cm; roundish to round; skin amber, light medium red blush, light bloom; flesh amber, soft; sugar low, acid medium; 13.5% soluble solids; fair quality; stone wholly cling; medium yield; season first to second week of July. Yellow with red blush, very soft, fully clingstone, melting flesh, amber in color, low sugar, rather sour fruit of poor to fair quality." Per P.I. Book: "Good for dessert, but not for cooking." Per Manual of Cultivated Trees and Shrubs (see citation): "Lvs. oblong-elliptic or oblong-obovate, acuminate, midrib beneath wooly, closely crenate-serrulate...Cult. 1929."
