Narrative
Pyrus sp. 'Frashishi'. Scions collected from cultivated tree on farm of Sher Khan by M. Thompson and D. Brenner on 11 October, 1988 in Pakistan (Azad Kashmir Province, Muzaffarabad District) near town of Kunbanway, about 14 km SE of Muzaffarabad. Tree growing at 815 m elevation; Latitude 34 14' N, Longitude 73 36' E. Collectors note 'Very small leaves - not typical of P. pashia nor P. pyrifolia. Said to have small, red-brown fruit that does not store very long.' - Collection notebook, 1988.
